The past couple days have been deliciously cozy staying in a lovely cottage right on Stafford Pond in Tiverton, Rhode Island. I’ve spent the days putzing around practicing and catching up on necessary behind the scenes Green Dot computer stuff including marketing, booking, media, and putting together more details for all the different smaller projects involved in the larger picture of the Green Dot Journey. It’s been nice to be out of the car for a couple days, although I’m excited to get rolling again tomorrow to finish up the green dots in southeastern MA and then move on to RI’s scenic roads.
There aren’t as many dots in Rand McNally for Rhode Island but I have pages of suggestions from Deborah and Matt and look forward to exploring beyond the green dots and creating some of my own. Last night I watched The Great Gatsby (the older version with Robert Redford) that is filmed in Newport at the Rosecliff Mansion. I can’t wait to see all of the beautiful mansions and walk along the ocean cliff walk this weekend when the sun comes out.
